I have several bitmap fonts in one texture atlas. The issue I'm having is that the glyphs that share a border with another font will have glyphs bleed into each other. Usually noticed above a glyph. Is there anyway to avoid this other than not having all of my fonts in an atlas?

Edit: I was able to prevent this from happening by adding extra padding to the atlas between the fonts. The problem is gone, although I feel I shouldn't have to do that to get it to work.
