Please help, pretty please..
I' ve been reading and trying this(and others):
My main question a.t.m. is: What happens when I embed textures/bitmaps in away3d and also an atlas in Starling.
Does this trigger swapping texture uploads to the GPU on runtime?
If not I'd be happier embedding the textures I need in Away3d rather than extracting that from the Starling Atlas and mapping it to meshes using UV.
(Mainly because I am not getting it to map and scale properly. Most likely because I reuse the geometry, scale it and merge all of them at the end of creation)
Im tinkering with the away3d demo where it shares context between starling and itself.
Now using the Awaysheet and shared texture dont seem to work for me.
I finally got the texture atlas from Starling to show up as material on my cubes in away3d, they are just not scaled anymore after the Merge; they show up using the entire base atlas texture. Not merging them shows some sort of scaling but the offsets are all wrong (perhaps of TextureMapper padding?)
Whats the best approach?
Starling away3d from starling v.s. Staring starling from Away3d.
Using a Texture atlas from Starling in Away3d or vice versa?
Can I use embedded textures in away3d and a textureatlas in Starling?
