Hey guys, I've spent the day trying to convert the fonts in my game to bitmap fonts but I was unsuccessful.
I don't know if there are any limitations I'm not aware of, but I've tried to export one font with a black outline and utilize it as the font of a button with size 12. I don't know if it's because I've changed this button scale, but I just can't seem to get it to look right.
If I export using a big size (50-70px) I get a pretty blurry text(expected) and if I export it using a smaller font like 30 or even 24, my text is either blurry or simply with the vertical alignment of the letters wrong depending if I use texturesmoothing or not.
I'm almost giving up on using bitmap fonts, because I simply won't be able to go through my whole game changing every single textfield that has weird scales applied to it.
The reason I don't use regular non-bitmap fonts is that my game has an option to start playing fullscreen when the player is playing on the web and when that happens it seems the textfield.text must be changed in order for the text to be rendered in the proper resolution otherwise it just becomes a messy blurry piece of text.
I know that's a long shot, but is there any function in starling that could help me iterate through all textfield instances created and pretty much reset their text value (TextField.text = TextField.text)?
Thanks a lot for your help so far
