It seems like AssetManager somehow holds onto the functions passed to the loadQueue method. I'm doing a bit of memory testing, and my preload mediator is being held in memory by this. Looking at the FlashBuilder profiler, the paths through the GC root run through the AssetManager, and the links are added on the lines where I call loadQueue.
Is there something I'm doing incorrectly that's not allowing these functions to be freed? Has anyone else seen this?
